Massive X is Native Instruments' new flagship synthesizer, built by the same team as its predecessor. Based on a state-of-the-art architecture, it offers artists and sound designers pristine sounds and enormous creative flexibility – allowing them to create, modulate, and experiment with sounds from a vast array of sources in any way they like.
Native Instruments Massive X version 1.4.1
MASSIVE X is available as an AAX, AU, VST and VST3 plug-in in this version.
MASSIVE X requires an Intel processor with AVX or an Apple Silicon processor.
On Apple Silicon machines, Rosetta 2 must be installed to install and use MASSIVE X.
MASSIVE X Factory Library is a separate installation and must be installed via NATIVE ACCESS.

Oscillator
At the heart of MASSIVE X, you'll find an all-new oscillator section—capable of generating more variation than some full synthesizers, right at the source. Choose from over 170 wavetables and 10 different readout modes—from the aggressive Gorilla series to wavetable bends, Hardsync, Formant, and more—each with its own unique submodes and additional controls. Dial in two phase-modulation oscillators to inject extra movement into the main oscillator.
Routing Reimagined
Connect any output to any input and see what happens. Intuitive routing lets you fundamentally rewire every part of MASSIVE X, meaning you can bypass, feed, and route audio any way you like. Modulators can also be routed as audio sources to inspire elements like comb filters.
PERFORMERS: MADE TO MODULATE
Draw precise modulation patterns in the Performer section and assign them to parameters for complex, evolving patches, or to control the evolution of a sound. You can then trigger them on your keyboard using the Remote Octave control, meaning you get truly playable modulation and rich expressiveness in a single patch.
