Customize the menu bar on macOS

The app itself is a small toolbar that allows you to choose which icons will remain on your Mac's main menu bar and which will be moved to Bartender's collapsible bar. It reduces desktop clutter by keeping everything close at hand. Even the icon for Bartender itself can be hidden for a completely minimalist approach.

Change the order of icons

Simply press ⌘ and drag icons to set the desired order for your menu items and the Bartender taskbar itself. Sort and hide applications at any time to create a discreet and focused working environment.

Notice changes in the application

The menu bar can be used to store application tabs during updates or status changes. BarTender includes functionality to automatically display application icons during updates, syncs, or errors. Once the process is complete, they disappear again. This is a great way to stay informed without any fuss.
