If there were no extra tricks are used, the security velnerabilities can affect macOS too. R2R haven’t checked this.

 

In macOS, there is API called NSCreateObjectFileImageFromMemory. This is always used by both packers (commercial protector) and malwares, to hide the important code. In Acustica plugins, code is embedded to the Nebula2/4 Image (N2P, N2V, N2S). Experienced hackers can swap or modify that embedded code. In R2R releases, that embedded code is totally removed because it’s not needed anymore.
