ChordWizard SongTrix Gold is a music creation tool designed for music producers. It provides an intuitive and friendly working environment. Whether you are using it to manage music events or structures, it is very convenient. It supports music activities in the same flexible way as a word processor supports writing or a spreadsheet supports calculations. It has a flexible and open approach that allows users to edit and produce music like composers, and has a rich set of built-in music styles for users to choose from.

1. Automatic Style

With accompaniment, Songtrix transforms simple chord sequences into professional backgrounds for supporting tracks, improvisation exercises, or quick compositions.

There are a wide variety of musical styles available that can be mixed in your tracks, literally millions of them!

You can combine substyles with Intro, Fill-In, and Ending modes to create a rich, seamless expression of your finished composition.

The process is flexible and transparent, so you can choose which parts of the song will use the pattern and see the musical events generated by Songtrix.

You can incrementally override and customize style events to get exactly the sound you want.

2. Effortless composition

Composition:

Songtrix is also a blank canvas for developing your own musical themes. Use a rich palette of musical events to create your original composition or arrangement from scratch.

Play around and select chords from the menu, then create your own rhythms to play.

Tracks can be divided into repeating segments to automatically spread your drum sounds and rhythmic patterns throughout the song.

Gain full control over the creative process by adding and editing musical events in Songtrix or an attached Midi keyboard (or other instruments).

You can easily apply playing techniques such as sustain, glissando, pitch bend, and vibrato to achieve stunningly realistic performances.

3. Staff Mark

Staff Mark:

Songtrix automatically, continuously, and accurately generates and displays staff annotations as you work. You can even instantly switch between different views of a song during playback.

This will improve your sight reading skills and ensure that you can communicate your work effectively to others, regardless of your scoring ability.

Songtrix offers many options for the compilation and placement of staff notation, so your songs contain a visual layout of the music as well as precise performance.

Staff sheets can be printed for complete scores or for individual parts. Other printed formats are also available, such as lyric sheets or sheet music with lyrics and chords.

4. Comprehensive Music Theory

Music Theory:

A powerful feature of Songtrix is the awareness of music theory built into the workspace. You can mark key centers and call upon a variety of harmony tools to explain, inform, and guide the creative process.

Songtrix can link tracks and automatically re-harmonize them to accommodate different chord or scale choices.

Not strong in music theory? No problem! Whatever your background, the HowMusicWorks multimedia tutorials included with Songtrix are an invaluable reference.

Starting with the fundamentals of sound, the tutorials progress to advanced topics in songwriting and improvisation, providing example sounds throughout to clearly illustrate each point. Each topic can be printed individually, or the entire set of tutorials can be printed as a book.

5. Publishing Platform

Spread your complete musical compositions around the world by publishing them on the full ChordWizardNetwork website!

ChordWizardSong (CWS) files are much more secure than MIDI or other file formats. Songs can be packaged to incorporate protections such as disabling copying and printing functions; preventing changes made to the song from being edited or saved; locking song credits and embedding a link to your member profile on the ChordWizard network.

These protections allow you to confidently publish your work on the ChordWizard network, but they also remain in effect even if you distribute your songs privately or through other means.

ChordWizard songs are the ideal format for music teachers to teach their students exercises, for composers to send their work to A&R agencies, and for all musicians to collaborate and share ideas.

The free Bronze edition ensures anyone can access the songs you send them, limited only by the level of protection you choose to apply.

6. And more.

Midi files can be imported into Songtrix using a process that analyzes and identifies chords (which Midi doesn't offer). Songs can be exported to Midi files, WAV files (for burning to CD), or MP3 files.

Even if you don't play piano, recording with the Midi keyboard in Songtrix is super fun and easy. Songtrix will change the chords for you, so you can record great rhythms without ever lifting your fingers from the keys!

Songtrix can efficiently make numerous adjustments to songs to move, stretch, quantize, humanize or transpose events.

SongtrixGold adapts to your playing level and expands so you never outgrow it. The Premium level is very comprehensive, with 57 chord types and 36 scale types, and you can add to it without limit.
