OBERHEIM TVS PRO – A two-tone legend, reborn with modern power

In 1975, Tom Oberheim revolutionized synthesizer design with the original TVS (Two Voice Synthesizer). Combining two SEM modules with a keyboard, he introduced true "two-voice" synthesis, allowing musicians to play two independent voices simultaneously and explore rich harmonic and evolving soundscapes. This bold innovation was embraced by pioneering musicians such as Martin Gore, Adrian Utley, Peter Baumann, Lorn, The Prodigy, and Nils Frahm.

Decades later, TVS Pro modernizes this concept with a built-in sequencer, expanded modulation, and optimization controls, while remaining faithful to its unique sonic DNA.

Now, the TVS Pro plug-in, developed in collaboration between GForce and Oberheim, brings this landmark instrument into a new era, perfectly recreating the original's depth, warmth, and character while also inheriting its astonishingly innovative spirit.

Whether you're a longtime Oberheim fan or new to SEM-based synthesizers, the TVS Pro's tone, flexibility, and exceptional playability will keep you coming back for more.

A voice that cannot be ignored - the whole is greater than the sum of its parts

At the heart of TVS Pro are two fully modeled SEM modules, each featuring:

✓ Two VCOs (voltage controlled oscillators) with pulse and sawtooth waveforms

✓ Legendary multi-mode filter

✓ Two ADS envelope generators

✓ One LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator)

Every component has been meticulously modeled to preserve the character and nuances of the original hardware—even the subtle instabilities that bring analog synthesizers to life. The result is the most realistic and vibrant SEM emulation available, built on a biphonic architecture for organic and complex interactions between sounds.

Additionally, we've added a 3rd VCO (which can also be used as an LFO), velocity sensitivity and aftertouch – not present on the original hardware, and each SEM can be controlled independently.

We also provide more than 400 presets converted from GForce SEM, plus 220+ new sounds, you will have a rich variety of high-quality sounds right from the start.

A sequencer-centric creative experience designed for modern workflows

TVS Pro comes with an intuitive Dual 16-step sequencers, not only precise but also extremely "playable." The fast process, flexible modulation, and intuitive control make TVS Pro a true creative paradise - here, inspiration flows naturally and experimentation is always encouraged.

Whether you're creating complex rhythmic patterns or building evolving, textural soundscapes, TVS Pro provides ample tools for exploration. Add in a phaser, analog-style stereo delays, and vibrant reverbs, and you'll instantly create deep, sophisticated performances.

A collaboration rooted in classics and vision

Our collaboration with Oberheim began with the award-winning OB-E v2, and since then our understanding of recreating classics has only deepened. When developing the TVS Pro plug-in, it was this shared passion for authenticity that helped us create an exceptional product that is faithful to the original.
