Trapcode Suite 18 introduces M1 support for all Trapcode tools, giving users full access to the full power and speed of Apple silicon. Additionally, Particular gains the much-loved layer mapping feature from Form.

  • Fluid random swirl controls are no longer disabled in the designer

  • No visual density is shown when buoyancy is equal to or below 0

• Fixed a crash in After Effects on Windows when Acceleration was set to GPU.

Known issues in this release:

• Layer mapping does not yet implement time-based mapping
• Layer maps ignore keyframes
• 3D Stroke is offset at reduced preview resolution when the camera is in composition
  • Workaround: Work at full resolution
• Growbounds utility does not yet support M1
  • Solution: Use Intel-based AE versions via Rosetta

Installation method: (Please uninstall the old version of the plug-in first)

1. Uninstall the old version of the plug-in. Click to install the Maxon App program

2. Install the Trapcode Suite Installer plug-in and close it. Then open the Maxon App program

3. Register an account for free and log in, or log in with another social account. After entering the interface, click the three horizontal bars in the upper right corner and select Import serial Registration. In the pop-up window, click the blue bar "Manually Enter a Serial Number", enter the provided registration code, and click Register Product to complete the activation.
