1. Open the folder called Pro Tools. Inside it, there will be a subfolder and an application. Click the application called Setup. We recommend using the default installation path. Using a different drive letter may cause problems, especially if you're trying to crack or install the software, which can be lengthy and require a computer restart.

If the installation fails once and the program does not install automatically after restarting, click it to install manually. Whether it is manual or automatic, there will be three options. Select Repair.

4. It is recommended to use a professional sound card. Professional sound cards all have ASIO, minimal latency, and powerful functions. The only disadvantage is that it requires more money. If you do not have a professional sound card, you must install the ASIO4ALL_2_11_Beta2_English driver (you can also download it from Baidu) when using the computer's built-in sound card. Otherwise, when you open PT, it will show that the hardware cannot be found.

1. For Windows XP, please replace the Avid Pro Tools.msi in the APTHD.10.3.0Pro ToolsPro Tools Installer directory with the Avid Pro Tools.msi in the patch directory, and then install it according to the instructions above.

2. If it prompts ilok, generally no decryption dongle is needed. If it prompts "lack of ILOK authorization", please download and install the encryption dongle, crack it again, and then restart.

Asio4all defaults to a 13ms delay. When mixing, a 14ms delay with a 512sample buffer is perfectly acceptable. If this doesn't work, consider purchasing a dedicated sound card.

If the laptop has less than 2GB of memory, it will be slow!

Recommendation: Increase the memory to more than 4GB, purchase an independent USB sound card, use Pro Tools 8LE or Pro Tools 7 version (requires a sound card from Maudio or Digidesign).

6. Independent sound card:

Generally, you'll use a USB or 1394 sound card. Entry-level options include the m audio 2496m audio transit (USB), digidesign mbox2 (USB with condenser mic preamp), Rme 96/8 Echo mia, and so on. If you don't record, any Creative sound card will do. A used one can be yours for around 30 yuan!

7. Error: Unable to configure high-speed memory for disk

"Please reduce your disk cache (DAE cache)..."

Method 1:

First, unzip the compressed package of Protools 10.3.2, and then find your folder path: Pro ToolsPro Tools InstallerISSetupPrerequisites

Then install the installation files in the following three folders in sequence

avid core runtime

After installation, reopen Protools and you will find that you can access the software normally.

Method 2:

Completely uninstall, then open setup.exe with compatible win7 + administrator mode. After the installation is complete, open protools with compatible and administrator mode. 10. Video freezes:

I'm using a genuine ProTools 10.3.4 version and imported an MPG video. While the timeline plays normally, the video freezes at the selected time and won't play. The same video format plays fine on a Mac with the same version of ProTools. Has anyone encountered this issue before or can help me solve this problem? Thanks!

The method adopted is to replace the graphics card. The graphics cards used before were 9600GT and GTX 630, which are very poor cards. I thought that the graphics card requirements for video playback were not high. Now I have replaced it with GTX550Ti and checked the High Quality Quicktime Image (DV25 Only) option in the Video option of Operation. The problem is solved.

I have tried installing various video decoders before, but none of them worked. I guess it is really a hardware problem and has nothing to do with the software or operating system.

11. Can I install Media Composer 5 and Pro Tools 9 on the same computer?

It is possible to install only Pro Tools 9 and Media Composer 5. However, installing Pro Tools with the Avid Video Engine is not currently supported. A future version of Media Composer will allow co-installation with Pro Tools 9 and the Avid Video Engine.

14. “Protools APPlicotion has stopped working” issue:

Unable to enter, can only exit. First follow the installation steps to complete the installation, right-click on the PT icon and select the compatibility mode in the properties. The default was XP at the time. After changing to WIN7, it still did not work, so I changed it to XP mode again. When I entered again, the sound card selection appeared. I had to install ASIO in advance so that I could select it. After that, I could run PT normally.
