Features
Consistent user experience
Adobe Bridge now has an enhanced user interface that provides you with an experience similar to other Creative Cloud applications. You can also change the default user interface appearance, text size, and scaling by setting the User Interface preferences in the Edit > Preferences > Interface dialog box.
Enhanced Creative Cloud Libraries
The Library workspace in Bridge now displays high-quality previews of library items. You can select multiple items to view their previews together.
Centralized cache management
You can now share a cache with other Bridge users and have them use the shared cache instead of creating one. Any Adobe Bridge user can export a cache to a shared folder, and other users can import copies of the shared cache to their local systems. Since the systems are synchronized, managing the cache in a central location lets you reuse exported caches without having to rebuild caches on different users' machines. You create and manage shared caches using the Manage Cache dialog (Tools > Manage Cache), which has been enhanced to provide options for building, importing, and clearing caches. In addition, the cache preferences have been enhanced (Edit > Preferences > Cache and Edit > Preferences > Cache Management).
Edit shooting time
Adobe Bridge now allows you to change the capture time of JPEG and RAW image files, just like you can in Adobe Lightroom. This feature is useful if you travel to a different time zone and don't change your camera's date or time settings before you start shooting. With this feature, you can edit the capture time after you capture the image.
Support for XD file format
Bridge now supports previews, thumbnail generation, metadata tagging, and keyword generation for Adobe XD files.
Media Cache Preferences
Bridge now processes and maintains a cache for all audio and video playback files. This feature improves performance when playing files because they are readily available whenever you want to view them later. We recommend that you periodically clean out old and unused media cache files to optimize performance. You can set preferences for the media cache by choosing Edit > Preferences > Media Cache.
Cutting, copying, or moving files and folders across Bridge and File Explorer or Finder Bridge now allows you to:
Cut, copy, or move files and folders from File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (macOS) and paste them into Bridge
