Once imported, you can drag and drop photo files into myTracks and they will automatically be assigned to GPS tracks. GPS information can be written to the EXIF and IPTC tags (geotagging) of photo files. You can use any photo organization software, such as Photos, iPhoto, Aperture, Lightroom, GraphicConverter, or even the Finder. myTracks works with both JPEG and RAW file formats.

GPS tracks can be exported as GPX, KML or KMZ files. You can use the exported files, for example, with Google Earth.

In addition to dedicated GPS loggers, the App Store also offers a free iPhone app called “myTracks – GPS Logger.” You can use this app to record GPS tracks.

With iCloud, you can easily sync all your tracks between all your devices (iOS and macOS).
