‘Horns in Motion’ was written, performed and recorded by Simon Beddoe of Submotion Orchestra. The aim of this pack was to recreate the writing and sounds that Simon achieves for Submotion Orchestra. Ethereal brass intros and textures have become a mainstay of the band’s sound and feature across all of their 5 albums and 4 Eps.

 

Simon is an in-demand session musician who has performed and recorded with the likes of Incognito, Matt Bourne, Gentlemans Dub Club, The Brand New Heavies, Craig Charles Fantasy Funk Band, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Slum Village, The Haggis Horns, Abstract Orchestra, Soweto Kinch, Matt  and The New Mastersounds to name but a few. His music has been synced on a number of TV shows and adverts ranging from Audi to the Great British Bake Off and Top Gear. 

 

Over its 1GB size, Ethereal Brass features the beautiful sounds of Trumpet, Muted Trumpet, Flugel Horn, Trombone and Bass Trombone with nearly 500 loops to choose from. Each loop has the option of using pre-mixed full section loops or breaking the section down into individual instrument loops so you can build and mix your own section.

 

As well as the loops there are also a number of chords, stabs, swells, pads, and individual hits for you to choose from. Loops within play between 90-140bpm making this collection perfect for cinematic, ambient, downtempo, trip-hop, hip-hop and many more!

 

In detail, expect to find 1 GB of sounds with all audio recorded at 24Bit 44.1KHZ. There are 111 Flugel Horn Loops, 52 Bass Trombone Loops, 44 Trumpet Loops, 35 Flugel Horn Bed Loops, 34 Brass Ensemble Loops and 31 Trombone Loops. There are 38 Brass Hits, 26 Brass Chords and 15 Brass Multis. Also included are 32 Soft Sampler Patches for Kontakt, Sampler/EXS24, NNXT and SFZ.
