On this sample pack we wanted to explore the more esoteric aspects of ancient music from the Middle East region. The Kopuz is one of the oldest string instruments to be found and mostly associated with Kurdistan, Turkey & Persia (nowadays Iran) and is known of use in various Sufi ceremonies and traditional music played throughout the region.
