[Omnisphere预置暗黑影视]Indefinable Audio Afraid Of The Dark（24Mb）插图Afraid of the Dark is a library of frightening patches for Omnisphere 2 that will help you add some serious scare to your music. The library contains 135 patches and 30 multis. The patch library’s primary focus is on subtle horror, and it will find a nice home with film, TV, and game composers writing in the horror/thriller genre. The patches are quite dark, quite tense, and sometimes very disturbing.

 

The mod wheel is always mapped to add intensity and layering for each patch, and this lends itself quite well to scoring in real time. Use the mod wheel to add some subtle movement or swell to the sounds, or crank it up to take it to the extreme! The library is split between 80 soundscape patches, 40 BPM patches, and 15 unique bonus “Hits and Bits” patches.

 

Each patch in Afraid of the Dark makes use of the User CC mapping to add additional functionality for each sound. It is often used to dial in rhythmic motion for soundscape patches, or it is mapped to add additional sound layering and FX. The pitch wheel is sometimes mapped to special functions as well.

 

Afraid of the Dark uses only soundsources from Omnisphere’s factory content. The library will quite often take unlikely soundsources and twist them into something wonderfully horrific using Omnisphere’s onboard tools and FX.
