The Luke Anderson Snare Collection Volume 1 is a collection of Luke’s favorite snare tones tuned by him and captured in a state of the art studio. Using a mix of vintage mic pre’s (Api, Neve, Universal Audio), compressors (Empirical Lab Distressors), industry standard microphones, and engineered by Ricky Rodriguez at Bomb House Recording, these are mix ready samples that will work in any genre of music.

This pack features Luke’s Blackbird 6.5×14 and a King 8×14 (wood) snare drums. Each snare features samples with no dampening, moon gel dampening (King 8×14 only), and o-ring dampening at various velocities. This allows you to pick multiple versions of snare sounds to create some unique and creative combinations of tones.

The “Hybrid” snare samples feature these snare sounds paired with electronic drum hits and run through vintage plate reverbs, modern reverbs , and guitar pedals, yes guitar pedals.

The samples can be used with sound replacement plug ins, drum pads and any sequencer that handles WAV files.

This pack features rimshot hits, tambourine/snare hits and hybrid samples made from his Blackbird 6.5×14 and a King 8×14 (wood) snare drums.

The “Hybrid” snare samples feature these snare sounds paired with electronic drum hits and run through vintage plate reverbs, modern reverbs , and guitar pedals, yes guitar pedals. The guitar pedals used this pack are a Russian Big Muff Pi (1996), JHS Superbolt and a Ibanez Smash Box.

This pack features processed and moongel dampened samples from his 63’ Acrolite 5×14 and his Legacy 6.5×14 (wood) snare drums. Also included are “Dirty Verbs 2.0,” samples processed through various plates verbs, hall verbs, room verbs and guitar pedals. The guitar pedals used for this pack include a Klon Clone and a Metal Zone.
