Loopmasters present Bittersweet, produced exclusive for Loopcloud by one of the creative forces behind multiple award winning and bestselling Loopmasters Originals packs; including the Dramatic Cinema series, Abstract Future Hip Hop, Live Downtempo and Textural Techno. This pack takes its influence from the moody underbelly of modern pop music. Attempting to capture the spirit that artists like Beyonce, Bjork, FKA Twigs, Banks and Childish Gambino are all embracing when using the darker distorted textures of early dubstep, UK grime and experimental electronica to create spacious, emotional and hard-hitting tracks.

It comes as the result of combining abstract recording techniques such as using an upright piano as a reverb unit and a guitar amp as a resonator with twisted and contorted vocals, flutes, acoustic drums, modular synths and field recordings. With guest vocal textures and jazz piano from James Berkeley of Neo-Soul outfit Yakul, this pack offers a broad and inspiring pallet for those times where things need to get a little darker.
