[电子乐采样]Field and Foley Electromagnetic Fields [WAV](309Mb)插图Electric and magnetic fields (EMFs) are invisible areas of energy, that are generated by natural phenomena like the Earth’s magnetic field and sunlight but they’re also generated with the use of electrical power and various forms of man-made lighting. Everyday electronics like mobile phones, power lines, microwaves, streetlights, and computer screens are examples of equipment that emit electromagnetic fields. What if we could capture those hidden frequencies all around us and use them as a starting point for music

Producer and sound designer Ryan Majoris set out to do just that. With special Electromagnetic Field Microphones Ryan captured the raw high pitched and often harsh sounds coming from lightbulbs, power plants, security cameras, and much more. With additional recording help from the folks at Freetousesounds, Ryan took these wave forms and designed an entire musical world of bright synths, deep pads, crisp leads, and wobbling basses. The processed samples are great for unique material in electronic music and the raw files can be brilliant starting points for new synths of your own. Dive into this little known world of sound and create an electronic wonderland of sound.
