At the heart of the selection are 20 pristine field recordings captured across woodlands, grasslands, dunes and suburban environments, from dawn to the depths of night. Expect chattering birds, spattering rain, and rustling wind to humming machinery, whining aircraft, distant church bells and beyond.

 

Accompanying this are 20 processed samples that are recognisably environmental in their source yet with added intensity applied through cutting-edge time-domain, granulation and spectral techniques.
