In the Classical Guitar Online Course, you will not only learn guitar playing techniques from beginner to advanced levels, but you will also discover how to reflect basic music theory onto your guitar.
In the early sections of the course, we will cover Basic Music Theory topics to establish a strong foundation for getting to know the guitar.
You will efficiently learn important theoretical concepts such as notes, the staff, clefs, note values, rest symbols, and the placement of notes on the staff. Additionally, we will examine fundamental building blocks of music, including sharps, flats, naturals, intervals, whole and half steps, time signatures, measure lines, end lines, dotted notes, scales, major-minor scales, and chord knowledge.
Before starting guitar lessons, we will address topics such as correct guitar holding, finger numbering, nail care, string names, and proper tuning to prepare you for playing with the right technique. Then, we will get used to the guitar’s fingerboard with right- and left-hand exercises and enhance our skills with finger exercises.
Once we solidify our foundation, we will move on to the notes on the guitar and practice on the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth strings. As we progress quickly, we will start playing popular solo pieces and gradually increase our level by performing 11 classical guitar works, from simple to more challenging.
By the end of the course, you will gain excellent mastery over the guitar, and we will boost your skills and confidence to the highest level!
