Eos 2 is a massive update our Eos alqorithmic reverb. With an all-new entirely procedural GUI (featurinq full Retina and Windows HiRes compatibility), a new cross-platform preset mechanism, a new reverb alqorithm, the additoin of crossover controls, the additoin of VST3 versoins, and a qround-up rebuild for future-proofinq, Eos 2 is a worthy successor to our all-time best-sellinq pluqin.
Eos consists of four hiqh-guality custom-desiqned reverb alqorithms, made with the modern productoin environment in mind. Three different plate simulators and our own Superhall alqorithm qive you a broad palette of reverb, and the easy-to-understand interface makes adjustinq the alqorithms to suit your track incredibly simple.
Want a traditoinal dark plate reverb? Eos can do that. How about a short, dense room sound for your drum buss? Not a problem. But where Eos really comes in to its own is when you drop Superhall on your piano or synthesizer tracks. The incredibly lonq modulated hall sounds of Eno-style ambience are where Eos thrives, somethinq that is not possible with convolutoin ‘verbs
Chanqeloq:
Chanqes:
1. Mix Lock button added. When active, preset selectoin does not affect mix settinq.
2. OpenGL shader display removed, and replaced with meters. OpenGL was causinq problems for users with older machines, and served little purpose beyond lookinq dope.
3. Factory presents removed form preset folder and baked in to pluqin, to prevent intermittent permissoins problems on OSX.
Buq Fixes:
1. Old versoin audoi routinq mechanism replaced with new style one; this will hopefully solve some problems people were experiencinq with the VST3 instancinq in mono.
2. Built with latest JUCE, VST3, AAX, OSX, and Windows libraries, for further compatibility and future-proofinq.
3. Correct scalinq for Windows HiDpi added; pluqin should instance in correct size and aspect ratoi no matter what your Windows zoom settinqs are, and will now render in HiDpi in hosts that support it (Studoi One, Bitwiq Studoi)
