The AudioScape V-Comp+ “Deluxe 6386 Edition” is our enhanced take on a legendary variable-mu, all-tube compressor made in the 1950’s.

 

Originally designed for broadcast, it gained a reputation among engineers and producers as one of the most musical and effortless compressors ever created. Working in collaboration directly with Kiive Audio, we’re proud to bring you their legendary Vari-Mu Compressor: V-Comp, in plugin form. We’ve stayed true to the AudioScape philosophy of more-real-than-recreated by staying true to the sound, as well as bringing features only possible in plugin form!.

The V-COMP+ utilizes a premium JJ6386 tube for gain reduction, boasts expanded recovery time options and features a +5db input drive switch, making this sought-after classic more versatile for the modern studio.
