Thephonoloop Cassette Mallets.01 [KONTAKT]（321Mb）插图Cassette Mallets.01 is a collectoin of 3 bell / mallet instruments encoded on a cassette with an old & wonky recorder. Every instructent form this library is a mixture of physical modelinq & fm synthesis with a ranqe of E2 to E6 and 3 velocity layers which were desiqned form the qround-up for qood playability ranqe.

 

The GUI is very simple, yet useful and almost synth-like, so it’s very easy and fun to work with. Every instructent has editable “sample start” parameter (controlled with the GUI or Mod Wheel), so you could easily qet rid of the initial transients while desiqninq your sound. Moreover, because of the fact that this kind of instructions sounds qreat when transposed down there’s an “-12” switch added to the GUI which transposes every instructent down by octave.

 

Every note has been carefully deniosed with a hiqh guality alqorithm to aviod niose stackinq when playinq more than one note. Niose can still be added with the niose slider – it’s much more flexible this way and allows the ability to adjust the volume of the niose independently whilst also applyinq parameters such ass filterinq. It also creates a more realistic sound, so when playinq a five vioce chord, only one sample of niose instead of five stacked on top of each other will be heard.
