From Big Fish Audio and Funk/Soul Productions’ vintage album vaults comes ‘Funk Soul Vintage Drum Loops’, an unsurpassed collection of beats inspired by the baddest classic Funk, Soul, and R&B grooves ever recorded – everything from early Motown and Philly Soul to classic R&B, Oakland Funk & Soul. We went through tons of vintage R&B tracks from the 60s and 70s, and chose hundreds of the greatest grooves ever laid down. We then captured the sound and vibe of those iconic beats, using vintage drum kits that were carefully tuned and processed to emulate the sound of the original tracks.

Lastly, we recorded the congas, bongos, hand percussion, claps, and finger snaps parts from those same classic beats, and created separate loops for all of those parts. For each beat you get a pre-mixed drums only loop, pre-mixed drums and percussion loop (if applicable) as well as all the individual mic positions (Kick, Snare, OH, Room) and individual percussion elements. Funk Soul Vintage Drum Loops has been formatted in the most widely-used formats: Apple Loops, Acidized WAV, and REX files, making it usable in virtually every piece of software and hardware on the market today. Each audio file has been expertly cut and edited to loop perfectly, and has been recorded in the highest quality 24-bit rate to ensure absolutely top quality end results.

If you work primarily with Apple products, be sure to utilize the extra loop tagging functionality in Garageband and Apple Logic as well as Apple’s proprietary time stretching and pitch bending algorithms.
