His debut mixtape, “No Retreat, No Surrender”, inspired by his uncle and hero, boxer Errol Christie, won widespread critical acclaim. Noisey described his breakout single “Party Here” as “a defining track in the cross-genre melange that makes up forward-thinking, left-leaning modern UK rap.” Now he’s showing us his view of the music that influenced him, UK Drill, through his unique morphing of old and new styles throughout his first Splice sample pack.
