What’s the big difference between the two versions
Not only are both racks comprised of different effects under the hood, but both racks actually sound quite different.

 

Bassify (Serum FX Version)

 

Bassify (Ableton Stock FX Version) [Ableton Live 12 Suite Only]

 

IMPORTANT:
As the title states, these racks are for Ableton Live Suite only, not Lite, Intro nor Standard! Both versions of the rack use Envelope Follower (Max 4 Live) to work. Please make sure you have that installed before purchasing.

 

“Note: the Envelope Follower effect is not available in the Lite, Intro or Standard Editions unless you have Live Standard with a Max for Live license.” – Ableton website

 

The Serum FX version requires the latest version of Ableton Live 11 Suite OR Ableton Live 12 Suite to run. The racks won’t work on older versions.

 

The Stock FX version requires the latest version of Ableton Live 12 Suite to run. The racks won’t work on older versions.
