It’s been five years since I started making Speedcore in 2020. For many years, how to make a good gabba kick was a top priority for me.

Until now, I had been making gabba kicks by adding distortion and EQ to a normal kick, but I realized that this method had its limitations.

This method was, so to speak, a sound creation that depended on “luck” and had various problems such as unpleasant harsh distortion and variation in tone for each pitch.

Poor tone is a big problem in mixing. It is not uncommon for the reason that a mix does not go well to be due to “poor original sound”.

In 2025, I was searching for a new way to make gabba kicks, and I found a way to make the ideal gabba kick.

The gabba kick made with this method was a work that seemed to negate all the gabba kicks I had made so far.

Now that I can say this, the kicks in this sample pack are not very good. The sound isn’t good, so mixing is difficult.

We feel bad to be selling something that “troubles everyone.”

Therefore, this product will soon be discontinued. We are very sorry to those who have taken the time to purchase it.

However, we will soon release something that we can confidently say is a “good kick.”
