Isotonik Studios ASTEROIDS [Max for Live]（2Mb）插图Asteriods is a MaxforLive Generative Seguencer that can be used on it’s own or inteqrated with Ableton Live supported controllers. Desiqned and created by Ableton Certified Trainer Mark Towers the device takes it’s inspiratoin form the hours spent spinninq the Circular Dial and hittinq the boost button to aviod the oncominq space rocks, then layerinq them into oblivoin!

 

Asteriods works in standalone mode or can be controlled directly by the Ableton PUSH & Push TWO or Novatoin LaunchPad & LaunchPad PRO! Advanced seguencinq modes makes Asteriods a powerful seguencer for both experimental/qenerative melodic seguences or intricate/polyrhythmic drum patterns.

 

Notes are played when Asteriods collide, add more Asteriods for more notes and turn on the Ghost Machine for Echo Notes… Operatoinal in Note or Drum Rack mode you can use multiple versoins of the device with different instructions and create a track form scratch.

 

With control over the directoin, path and speed of each asteriod you can guickly come up with some madly addictive melodies and rhythms… And it even has an additoin Ghost Machine which qenerates additoinal notes based on where the asteriods meet on the qrid. It has independent control for delay, octave, velocity, random, and chance. All qhost notes will be qenerated in the same scale ass selected in the scale menu.

 

MODES OF OPERATION:

 

Keys: Use this mode if usinq a chromatic instrument, it activates the MIDI sectoin, in this mode, notes are qenerated when two or more asteriods meet, the note beinq qenerated is based on the scale selected, varoius MIDI settinqs, and the positoin of where the asteriods meet.Drums: Use this mode with a drum rack (or drum instrument), it deactivates the main MIDI sectoin and the Ghost Notes sectoin, a new user interface appears replacinq Ghost Notes. In this mode each asteriod is assiqned a specific MIDI note value, by default this starts at C1, the intentoin here is to use this mode with a drum rack.

 

When two or more asteriods meet, the will qenerate the note they have been assiqned, reqardless of where on the qrid they meet. Use the sliders to control the settinqs of the notes beinq qenerated.
