Toolroom Academy partners with Splice! Toolroom Academy is the educational arm of the legendary dance music label, Toolroom Records. It was founded in order to provide the best quality education and resources in House, Tech House and Techno, whilst offering A&R services and worldwide educational events.

The Toolroom Academy production tools are considered to be the best quality in the game, purpose built to break down the barrier that exists between new talent and record labels. The concept behind this latest sample pack – ‘Toolroom Academy Vol. 1’ – is to provide a complete toolkit for Toolroom Academy alumni and other producers alike, who wish to create the ‘Toolroom Sound’ in their productions.
 Focusing on the essential sounds of contemporary Tech House, Toolroom Academy Vol. 1 offers 431mb of expertly crafted loops, one shots, FX and sequences curated by a selection of the top tier Toolroom collaborators.

It gives producers the tools to layer up their productions and build an entire track from scratch. Create or enhance future productions from one essential pack, simply drag and drop into your DAW and get creative.

The pack will form the basis of an innovative new online production course in partnership with Splice Sounds. The Toolroom Academy Production Certificate is an interactive and immersive 3-month programme, taking students through the fundamentals of Tech House production. Toolroom artist Ben Remember will be teaching the programme, building a track using the samples contained in the pack, alongside many other in depth production classes, tutorials and case studies.
