Using vintage analog gear, we recorded and processed the Estonia Grand at a meticulously run Soviet-era scoring stage, capturing imperfections, natural resonances, and harmonics in their full glory. The recording of the piano was done by blending multiple sets of vintage microphones (Neumann UM57’s, Vintage Lomo’s, Sennheiser MKH40’s, Aston Spirits, Neumann KM 184) into a perfectly balanced mix. Without a doubt, this will act and sound like a real instrument at your fingertips.

 

With its purely analogue signal flow, this expansion adds a uniquely expressive and spirited instrument to your Prophet X or XL.
