Tabla Essentials is the first addition to our Sounds of Modern India Sample Pack series. Tabla Essentials consists of over 1.8 GB of Tabla Loops, Tabla Fills, Top Loops, FXs, One-shots. It has 850+ Samples. They are recorded at various BPM ranging from 80 to 150 BPM. Tabla Loops can be used in various genres such as Classical, Hip Hop, Pop & even EDM. It will add an authentic ethnic vibe to your track.

Tabla is an Indian Percussion Instrument that comprises two hand drums of slightly different sizes and shapes. Each drum is made of hollowed-out wood, clay, or metal. The smaller drum is used for creating treble and tonal sounds, while the primary function of the larger drum (baya) is for producing bass. They are laced with hoops, thongs, and wooden dowels on their sides. The dowels and hoops are used to tighten the tension of the membranes for tuning the drums.

The playing technique is complex and involves extensive use of the fingers and palms in various configurations to create a wide variety of different sounds and rhythms, reflected in mnemonic syllables.

Tabla is a classical instrument, yet it is used by various EDM & Hip Hop Producers such as KSHMR, DJ Snake, & TroyBoi. It adds authentic Indian ethnic vibes to your track.

A solo recorded loop is simply a single loop placed in the center, whereas double recorded versions are two differently recorded loops panned left and right to have wide & thick sound. In addition, we are providing both Dry & Wet versions. In the Wet version, we have added captured room reverb.
