[Breaks采样]Bop Breakenstein Twisted SynPlant Replicas of Classic Breaks Sample Pack [WAV]（35Mb）插图Fascinated by the power of SynPlant 2, a plugin that uses AI algorithms to recreate a sample through simple synthesis, I decided to try and remake some classic breaks sampled from old funk records. The aim wasn’t to recreate them with 100% accuracy but to capture the essence of each break—keeping them somewhat recognisable—before twisting them through synthesis into something new and distinct.

 

After rounds of trial and error, I ended up with around 40 unique versions of 7 classic breaks, all included as WAV loops in this pack. Some are quite close to the originals, while others sound distinctly electronic and “unnatural,” resulting in a diverse set of sounds inspired by the classics but with their own unique—and sometimes weird—twist.

 

For those who’d like to play with the patches themselves, I’ve compiled 15 of the most interesting breaks into SynPlant patches, where each note represents a different drum shot. And if, like me, you prefer working with one-shots, I’ve extracted all the individual hits from the loops—600 one-shots in total, giving you plenty to play with.
