[等响度补偿增益控制插件]APU Software TrueGain v4.6.1 [WiN, MacOSX](300Mb)插图APU TrueGain is an equal-loudness compensated gain control plugin designed to maintain the perceived tonal balance of an audio mix at different listening levels.

The ‘Compensated Gain Control’ presets setup the tool so when you adjust the gain dial, the frequency response of the audio is automatically compensated to preserve the perceived tonal balance.

The ‘Translation Check’ presets allow you to simulate how your mix will sound at different loudness levels without changing the actual volume of your monitors or headphones. This helps you quickly check how the bass will hold up or if the vocals will become harsh in quieter listening environments, ensuring your mix translates reliably.

The frequency compensation FIR filters implement both ISO 226:2023 and ISO 226:2003 equal-loudness contours. These filters are validated with rigorous tolerance requirements at all sample rates. For more of a vintage character, there’s also a classic Fletcher-Munson contour option, which is based on the original 1933 paper.

All gain and spectral adjustments are interpolated smoothly, with configurable smoothing times to control the responsiveness and help prevent any audible artifacts during gain automation. You can select between linear phase and minimum phase filter types.

To provide detailed visual feedback, TrueGain includes a comprehensive real-time spectrum analyzer. It features configurable FFT sizes, window types, and time averaging. The frequency display can be switched between linear, logarithmic, or musical note scales, with an adjustable dB range and auto-zoom to help you focus on what matters.

For the best results, you can calibrate TrueGain to your specific listening environment using an external SPL meter. This ensures that the equal-loudness contours are accurately aligned with the actual sound pressure levels at your listening position.

If you don’t have an SPL meter, or you’re using headphones, you can still use TrueGain effectively by selecting a reference SPL level that matches your typical listening volume. There are presets available next to the reference SPL slider which cover a range of common listening levels.
