To accomplish this, Balvi Cello offers a variety of attacks and multiple sustain options for the legato, two types of legato transitions, and, of course, rebows.

To prevent the phasing effect and blurriness that crossfading between dynamic layers can cause, especially in solo instruments, Balvi Cello has been designed with a single dynamic layer system. By combining various sustain options, it offers a multiple performance possibilities, allowing you to achieve the nuance and emotional depth needed for your music.

The various attacks and legato sustains are activated based on the velocity you use (0, 41, 91)

In addition to the standard legato transitions, the instrument also includes a set of fast transitions up to a major second, ideal for performing runs and certain musical passages that demand greater playing speed.

Balvi Cello also offers the ability to perform rebows, which is essential for shaping your melodic lines in the most natural and musical way possible.

Three carefully recorded microphone positions are available to deliver a pristine sound and provide greater flexibility when positioning the cello within your mixes to suit your preferences.
