Altered Piano is the spiritual sequel to our Inferno soundset, but where Inferno was built only around the famous Burning Piano sounds in Omnisphere, Altered Piano goes much further and includes on all kinds of piano related sounds from the vast collection of sound sources in Omnisphere, from normal sounding pianos, to noises, effects and weird accidents.

Altered Piano is a cinematic soundset based on real pianos, dramatic noises and tense effects.

The basic idea with Altered Piano started off with the simple idea of making dramatic piano-related sounds, meant for scoring and adding a bit of drama into music productions. But during the design, the soundset organically evolved itself into other type of sounds, such as hits and bits, textures, pads and arpeggios.

Altered Piano contains 216 sounds in the following categories:
