Concert "D"
The 9-foot-tall Steinway D is considered by many to be the pinnacle of piano making.
The instruments we sampled from were equipped with a custom system developed by Zenph for reproducing performances. This is how we were able to record our samples so accurately!

All pedal combinations
We captured all possible variations between sustain, una corda pedal and no pedal.
The samples are beautiful, even more so because this piano is equipped with "re-play" technology!

Make it your own
You can easily bend this piano to your musical will! Our intuitive controls allow you to switch between jazz/classical/movie/pop music with ease.
Beyond that, you'll find a full page of simple ways to change the tone and feel of this magnificent Steinway.

36 velocities per note
We meticulously recorded 36 velocities for each sample set (i.e. every pedal combination). Thanks to the extreme precision of the instrument, you get a beautiful, smooth response from low to high velocities.
If you don't want to load a billion samples, you can scale the instrument down to the speed level you want.

10,000+ real release samples!
Most virtual pianos have a static set of releases that trigger the same way no matter how you play the note. Not this piano! Depending on how hard and how long you play the note, you'll hear different release patterns.
Especially with stronger notes, you even get a sense of the wonderful recording space!

Dedicated staccato samples
There’s something amazing about the actual staccato samples… the way the mechanism reacts, and a subtle sense of space is created.
That's why we sampled an unprecedented number of staccato notes: 36 velocity x 2 repetitions for each of the 88 notes!

6 microphone positions
The default position is a sweet off set of AKG c414s, then 5 other options with a wide variety of tones and feels.
