New features in this version:
AI-enhanced tools
New AI-enhanced tools join intelligent tempo and pitch correction plug-ins to enhance your artistry
• A bass player and keyboard player join the drummer to complete a group of session players – all built using AI to easily create performances that respond to your direction
• Session Player can use the Global Chord Track to follow the same chord progression
• Add warmth to any track with ChromaGlow, a premium plug-in with five saturation models designed to emulate the sound of vintage analog hardware*
• Use Stem Splitter* to separate stereo audio files into stems for vocals, drums, bass, and other parts
• Session Player, ChromaGlow, and Stem Splitter also work with Logic Pro on iPad 2 – making it easy to move between projects created in Logic Pro for Mac
Sound Library
• Play any of six deeply sampled acoustic and electric basses with Studio Bass
• Play any of three meticulously sampled pianos using the studio piano
• When added to a project, loops containing chord labels will automatically populate the Chord track
• Three new producer packs available: Hardwell, The Kount, and Cory Wong
• Original multi-track project of "Swing!" by Ellie Dixon, available as an in-app demo song
Spatial Audio
• Downmix and trim options allow custom mixes for non-Atmos channel configurations
• Exported ADM BWF files have been expanded beyond Dolby Atmos to include settings for stereo and other multi-channel formats
Enhancements
• In-Place Bounce adds automatic real-time recording to external instrument zones or tracks using external hardware using Logic's I/O plug-ins
• MIDI generated by supported software instruments and effects can be routed to the inputs of other tracks for creative layering during playback or recording
• Edit more efficiently using key commands to move, extend, or resize marquee selections
