NEXUS5 is compatible with all your existing NEXUS projects and libraries. You can load your old beats into your DAW and load your old sounds. Everything just works.

Installation method:

Note: The "Skin" folder is placed in the sound library, in the Nexus Content folder! The switch location is in the upper right corner of the interface, where there is a skin browser.

1. Both Nexus v5.1.1 and Nexus v4.5.17 are direct install versions, requiring no activation. The new Nexus v5.1.0 has both an upgrade option and a reinstall option. You can either uninstall or reinstall the software, but uninstalling and reinstalling is recommended.

5. At this point, Nexus is ready for normal use. To install the sounds from the reFX Nexus Expansion pack, you'll need to unzip each library individually. Each unzipped pack will contain three folders: NKS, Presets, and Samples.

6. Paste all three folders of the expansion pack directly into the NEXUS library. Note: If prompted to merge, merge directly. If replaced or skipped, go to the folder and copy them manually one by one.

7. That’s it!

1. Direct installation, no activation required.

2. Unzip all files in the NEXUS library folder to get the NEXUS library. Put the NEXUS library in a place without Chinese directories. Note that the folders inside are multiple folders of the sound library. For Mac, you can put it in an external hard drive.

3. Right-click Finder in the launcher > Go to Folder... In the window that appears, enter /Users/Shared/reFX/Nexus in the address bar and press Enter. Find the settings.json file and open it in TextEdit.

4. Modify the library path in the settings.json file. First, determine your library path. Enter the NEXUS library, right-click any folder to display the interface, right-click on the location, and copy it as the path name.

5. Paste the sound library path directly into the settings.json file as shown below, leave everything else unchanged, and save:
