CloudMounter for MacIt is a centralized service that allows you to mount cloud storage as a local disk and treat online files in the same way as local files. It also uses a high-end encryption algorithm (AES256) to protect all your data, so if your account is hacked, no one can access your personal information.
Start managing your primary Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive accounts and encrypt the files within them for free! Version 3.0 also supports Box cloud services, pCloud, Backblaze B2 cloud storage, Amazon S3-compatible storage solutions, files shared with you via Google Drive, and more!
With this handy system utility, you can expand your Mac's disk space to infinity, all it takes is an active Internet connection. Ready to see how it works? It's really that easy!
Unlike local clients, CloudMounter doesn't sync local information with your online account; it actually mounts the remote server on your Mac, like a removable disk. You can copy, move, open, download, and upload files to your cloud server just as you would with a local folder. CloudMounter has a handy Finder extension. Activate it to see the loading status of your files. You can even move files between cloud accounts without manually copying them to your local computer. Keep in mind that temporary copies of the files are still saved to your computer and can only be deleted after the transfer is complete.
CloudMounter is a secure and reliable utility. It allows you to encrypt your personal data on a cloud server so that only CloudMounter users with the master password can see it. Viewing the storage from any other access point (i.e. a browser or native client) will only display nonsense.
In addition to encrypting your online data, all connections are performed through the native APIs of the cloud services, which means that none of your login credentials are used by the application for anything other than logging into the corresponding account, and of course they are not shared with any third party. All passwords for FTP, WebDAV, and Amazon S3 accounts are securely stored in the macOS keychain.
If you use multiple cloud accounts or your Mac's SSD drive is extremely low on capacity, CloudMounter is a must-have tool for you.
