[现代爵士电木管采样]Signal Path Alfredo Colon – Electric Woodwind [WAV](511Mb)插图 We were fortunate to have NYC-based Dominican-American saxophonist and composer Alfredo Colon join us at The Bunker in Brooklyn to lay down an array of sounds using a saxophone, flute, and EWI, an electronic wind instrument pronounced ee-wee. Described as authoritative and fiery, yet mournful and melodic, Alfredo crafts musical atmospheres that highlight beauty by framing it in disarray. We fully leaned into Alfredo’s modern jazz fusion vibe to record one-shots and loops you can use to compose stunning soundscapes or sultry Rand;B tracks. Or, add reverb, speed them up, or chop and screw them into whatever sonic shape you need for your hip hop, pop, trap track, or whatever project you desire.

Alfredo Colon has performed with artists such as Amirtha Kidambi, Moses Sumney, Dawn Richard, Cautious Clay, Arturo O’Farrill, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Harish Raghavan, Aaron Parks, William Parker, and Henry Threadgill. He has presented works at spaces like NYC Winter Jazz Fest, The Jazz Gallery, Bronx Arts Space, and Roulette Intermedium. His much-anticipated debut album, “Blood Burden”, was released in June 2024.
