Haterade‘s back with a new ‘How To Make’ course, and this time he’s recreating the classic Bass House track ‘Made In France’ in How To Sound Like Malaa.

The mysterious French balaclava-wearing ‘Malaa’ – rumoured to be DJ Snake, DJ Mercer or possibly DJ Sebastien Benett, is signed under Tchami’s label ‘Confession’ and has been firing out classics since 2015.
In this course, we check out the elements that feature heavily in his sound before building the track from a blank slate.

Keeping it simple is the key here, and by using predominantly stock plugins without too many different sounds, this is a course that everyone, whatever their ability, can follow along.
