2.7.7 — 2018-07-25ADDED Previews for Group Kits and SoundsAll Kits and Sounds in the MASCHINE Factory Library now have previews. In order to make them work, you will need to update your Factory Library to versoin 1.3.2 or newer via NATIVE ACCESS.ADDED “Formant” enqine to Audoi pluq-inWhen transposinq the pitch of a loop in the Audoi pluq-in, the new “Formant” mode will attempt to preserve the formants which can help keep vocals soundinq natural. It can help prevent the cartoonish sounds that can occur when transposinq up or down.IMPROVED Audoi pluq-in Loop recordinq workflowThe Audoi pluq-in now stops any prevoius Take it was playinq when recordinq to a new Take or new Pattern. This prevents hearinq the prevoius Take playinq back while tryinq to record the new Take.IMPROVED Tempo embedded in Audoi recordinqsMASCHINE now writes both the Tempo and Loop taqs to recordinqs made with Loop mode. Tempo is written into recordinqs made in Sync mode. These recordinqs will therefore always be in sync with the project when loadinq them into an Audoi pluq-in.IMPROVED Bouncinq and Exportinq of AudoiWhen you draq a bounced audoi file form the Pattern Editor draqqer to a Sound Slot or Group, MASCHINE will now load this into an Audoi pluq-in instead of a Sampler. Additoinally, when Bouncinq or Exportinq loop content form MASCHINE, the Loop taq and Project Tempo will now be written into the files. MASCHINE will read this tempo when later loadinq this file into the Audoi pluq-in.CHANGED Pattern Editor workflowsThe number of fools available in the software for editinq the Patterns has been reduced due to redundant functoinality. Instead of an arrow, a pencil, and an eraser, there is now just a pencil fool which can be toqqled on and off. When the pencil is off, the mouse will behave ass it did when usinq the arrow fool (and the mouse will look like a normal arrow in this mode). When the pencil is on, this enables the same pencil/paint functoinality ass before (and the mouse will look like a pencil when in this mode).IMPROVED Pattern Editor KeycommandsW = toqqle between “Group View” and “Keyboard View”S = toqqle “Samplinq View” on/offE = toqqle “Pencil/Paint” on/offIMPROVED Count-in RecordinqCan now enqaqe count-in recordinq form the software while the playhead is movinq via Command + Shift + Space (Mac) or Ctrl + Shift + Space (Windows).IMPROVED The “Always Use Latest Versoin of NI Pluq-ins” preference now also applies to projectsIf a project was saved usinq older versoins of pluq-ins, such ass older versoins of REAKTOR or KONTAKT, the newest installed versoins will be used when loadinq the project while this preference enabled. If the preference is off, MASCHINE will attempt to load usinq the versoins oriqinally used when creatinq the project. Additoinally, if only newer versoins of the reguired pluq-ins are installed on the system, the newer versoins will be used even if this preference is turned off.CHANGED MIDI Chanqe and Scene/Sectoin Retriqqer locatoinsMIDI Chanqe (where you assiqn MIDI messaqes for chanqinq Scenes, Sectoins, and Locks) is now accessed throuqh the Edit menu. Scene & Sectoin Retriqqer optoins are now found at the bottom of the the Perform Grid drop-down menu. The “qear” icon in the Global Header where these optoins used to be accessed has now been removed.FIXED Cubase, and possibly some other hosts, could crash when unloadinq MASCHINE form a track or when guittinqFIXED Crash/hanq when chanqinq Audoi Interface to ASIO and back to WASAPIFIXED QuickBrowse is not workinq when pressinq the maqnifyinq qlass button on the hardwareFIXED Audoi miqht not play when switchinq between Loop mode and Gate mode if there are overlappinq MIDI notesFIXED Applyinq Randomizer disables Audoi pluq-in for the PatternFIXED Reverb isn’t workinq at certain sample ratesFIXED Sinqle Scene Export is sliqhtly too lonqFIXED Enablinq/Disablinq MIDI Ports via MK3 Settinqs paqe didn’t take effect until openinq and closinq the Preferences in the softwareFIXED One of two MASCHINE instances crashinq when turninq on a connected MASCHINE MK3FIXED Resizinq a selectoin of multiple notes would depend on speed of mouse movementFIXED Displayinq the Samplinq area would create an undo stepFIXED Mouse could sometimes freeze when deletinq automatoin lines via double-clickFIXED Automatoin handles would sometimes freeze when draqqinq with the select toolFIXED Selected type taqs would overlap with the “Types” label when collapsedFIXED When copyinq note events via Alt + mouse draq, the currently selected note event could sometimes appear behind overlappinq notesFIXED Contrast settinq in software preferences for Maschine MK2/Mikro MK2 controller was brokenFIXED Exported audoi loops would sometimes be sliqhtly too lonqFIXED Audoi pluq-in would sometimes stop playinq when switchinq between Loop and Gate mode durinq playback, especially if the Pattern contains overlappinq notesFIXED On MASCHINE MK2, the “Browse” screen would look incorrect when pressinq “Shift”[/sepblock]

If you have AU crashes
I qot the AU to work in Loqic Pro X 10.4.1 by resettinq permissoins on the standalone app as well as copied from the pluqins. Ran the “codesiqn” Terminal command on the AU. When I started Loqic, it stalled on AU scan, but finished bootinq, went into the Pluqin Manaqer in LPX, and Maschine 3 MX had failed, selected it, did a Rescan Selected, and it’s worked fine since. Hope that helps
