Top loops played by a human can be extremely helpful to provide organic movement to a track. While recording our Dead library, we tracked 5 tambourines, 3 shakers and 3 hi hats.

 

Each of these 4 bar loops include eighth & sixteenth note variations, accented and unaccented.

 

These loops were recorded using all analog gear. We utilized a stereo pair of Lucas CS-1’s through the UTA UnFairchild.

 

Going along with the Dead theme, these loops are ultra processable and can be mangled and manipulated to your hearts content.
